Incorporating fresh vegetable and fruit juices in someone’s life can add many, many healing benefits. Much of which can affect some of the most common ailments that we are dealing with on a consistent regular basis. But when it comes to juicing for health specifically, many times, clients will ask me regularly, why not just eat the vegetables and fruits for the same benefits? This a fair and valid question, to which I will try to answer in the most concise manner.
What this really comes down to is the fact that when someone juices vegetables and fruits, it allows for a quicker assimilation of nutrients and fiber into the gut and the bloodstream. This saves major time when someone is in the processes of attempting to heal their bodies for a specific situation or circumstance. When we eat foods in their solid forms, it requires more time chewing and hours with relation to digestion. When we are juicing, we are taking the fastest, most direct approach for pushing out left behind waste in our bodily systems, especially in our colons. This is the essence of any juicing modality: taking vegetables and fruits in juice form to rid the body of toxins and sediment waste in the quickest manner possible.
Juicing vegetables and fruits acts as an intestinal sweeper, addressing constipation, colitis and diverticulosis as well as much more. Another thing to keep in mind is that when juicing is introduced to the body, enzyme function is heightened and sped up as well. This also speeds up the chemical reaction of the nutrients to the body in question, sometimes in a manner of minutes. And finally, behind everything and all of this is the point of the body entering into a state of toxemia.
While juicing can address many issues related to stagnant health here are three common issues that can benefit from a juicing regimen:
Colds: A regular combination of carrot, spinach, radishes and whole lemon in hot water has shown to be of benefit.
Gastritis: A regular combination of beet, carrot, and cucumber is useful.
Hay Fever: A regular combination of carrot, celery and radishes work are working against histamine and keeping the sinus cavities functional.
