Setting the right intention to succeed in everything with our workouts is what it will take to be successful with your outcomes. This is especially true when it comes to weight and health maintenance. This topic is being brought up because the writer comes across many patients and clients who have let the writer know that they are indeed exercising and working out as a part of their healing treatment, but they have hit an area where they have stalled out and are not seeing the results that they need or are looking for.
If our workouts have been dull, or lackluster without feeling the gains of the exercise we may need to gauge and take a look at our rate of output to see what level you are at. So, when you move on a regular basis which level are you at? While moving at a level of 3 and lower, you might not be getting the results that you are looking for; yet it is still better than being at a level of 0. When you are on a level between 4 and 6, that is a stable place to begin to see some improvements. But when we are on a level of 7 or higher; it is at this level where you can break the stagnation and lose more weight, boost more energy, and get better sleep. As a result of having vigorous exercise, your life can be impacted in so many other ways.
Movement is actual physical therapy in Naturopathy and a critical part of the healing and detoxification process for healing. As practitioners, we are finding that so many ailments and sicknesses are as a result of not forcing the body to move with an intensity that cracks a continuous sweat. So, the next time you prepare for your workouts and actually starting your workouts: always set the intention to maximize your exercise levels. People see the most results when they are at a level of 7 or higher. When you keep your ‘why’ in front of you, that can give you all of the motivation that you need to keep going. This is what is meant by intentional progress. Setting the clear intention and tracking your own behavior towards your progress.
