Ingredients:
Salt
Cumin Powder
Red Chili Pepper
Chili Paste
Turmeric
Coconut Oil
Orange juice from one fresh Orange.
Onions
Green Pepper
One Block Extra Firm Tofu
Directions:
Sauce: Cut the orange in half and squeeze all juice out and place in glass bowl. Then combine the salt, cumin powder, red chili pepper, chili paste, turmeric, and coconut oil and lightly mix with spoon. Take the onions and slice in quarters. Slice the green pepper down the core and pare and sit to the side.
Preparation:
Cut the tofu into pieces or portions or your choice. Place the tofu, onion and green peppers in the sauce and mix thoroughly and refrigerate to marinate for 2 hours (or overnight if you like for more intense flavor).
Cooking: Heat cooking pan (should have a lid) to medium heat and place all ingredients and let cook for 10 minutes. Reduce heat after ten minutes to simmer and allow this for another 10 minutes; place lid on. After this duration take off lid and turn up heat to the point that it almost fry’s but doesn’t. Turn off flame once you see the sauce has become thick and fully fragrant. Plate. Enjoy!
