Understanding Angina Pectoris.

It is critical to have this discussion in this day in time due to the fact that heart disease and heart imbalances are the number one cause of preventable and premature deaths around the around the globe. While heart attacks can be abrupt, and often times without warning, episodes of angina pectoris definitely serve as warning signs and precursors  to imbalances in the thoracic region.

Angina (Pectoris) manifests as a chest oppression and pain that is brought on by a cut off blood flowing in and out of the hear region; but what ultimately is behind it are elements of heart disease. There are several things that can bring on severe cases of angina mainly: emotional stress, chronic smoking, inhaling heavy metals, lack of exercise and patterns of inflammation.  Many people exhibit these symptoms on a daily basis but choose to live with it; and some have stated that to have angina symptoms are just a part of everyday their everyday life. But in reality, this is exactly the opposite of what anyone should be feeling at anytime and especially on a regular basis. The heart was meant to thrive and shine with power.

All of the Ancient Holistic treatment methodologies of Unani, Sufic, Ayurvedic, Traditional Chinese, African as well as Middle Eastern platforms all place heart energy as the focal point of true healing in the body. This goes both for the physical aspect as well as the spiritual dimensions of it as well.

When it comes to looking after the health of the heart and overall cardiac wellness, there are things that can be done daily to keep its vitality circulating. Keeping stress levels down, getting proper rest, eating foods mostly alkaline in nature and managing cholesterol numbers and factors have been shown to put some distance between good health and angina pectoris. Chronic heartburn along with gastrointestinal reflux issues can also complicate heart power and pump flow as well. So, what this means is that care and attention should also be given to how acidic and inflammatory our foods and lifestyle are. The key is to reduce the internal heat as much as possible.

When it comes to Naturopathic and Herbal treatment related to the heart region: gingko biloba has been shown to reduce inflammation of the heart and bring in the ability to bring in deeper breathing in the body for more Life Force. Green Tea contains a good amount of polyphenols which supports heart health. Along with this, eating plant-based foods aligned with the Mediterranean diet has been shown to have heart health benefits; with its rich amounts of olive oil; protecting the coronary arteries.

Heart energy is an everyday affair of maintenance. Things like angina pectoris, chronic heart burn and heart arrythmias are indicators that greater imbalances could be on the horizon; we should take those signs seriously. But it doesn’t have to be the case. Exercise, body detoxification, fiber rich foods, alkaline foods, proper rest and stress management is the path forward when it comes to understanding and healing the heart. The heart is the body’s central power system and source of wisdom and measurement of how healthy we are at any given time. If we can tune into its source of energy, it is hoped that we can avoid angina pectoris in our life.
